Supine

Supine

I walked down a new street
Laying supine, wishing for life
Warm cup unfrosted thoughts
Steaming my views
Transforming hulks of loose brick
Sagging glass into babes of possibility
Somewhere a baby squeals
As a mother strolls past the green tufts
Growing through the sidewalk.
