He thought she wouldn’t notice

He believed they ‘could handle it’
She only felt unloved
He only thought of himself
She only felt unloved
She slowly moved on
He only wished he hadn’t
She lived a fuller life
He only wished he hadn’t
She found herself
He only wished he hadn’t
She was finally able to find her soulmate
He finally realized he lost his

Enough of your excuses.
Enough of your frustrations.
Enough of your questions.
Enough of your quiet stares.
Enough of your ignorance.
Enough of your caring.
Enough.
Enough of all of it.
She put down her thoughts.
Cold words, wrapped heavily in emotion.
Losing him was almost Enough to stop.
But. She continued.
Continued to write about why.
Why she wasn’t Enough for him.
